First Time Out

Finally - some ICE. I was able to get out on the ice this past Monday. As you have all heard before, "you should've been here yesterday". We landed a jumbo perch and two smaller ones. Much to my dismay, i also caught a very large mudpuppy. Eeewwww. Now the the temperatures are falling and the water is getting harder, I will have more stories to tell. It sure was nice to gather all my gear and get outside. I was fishing off Grosse Ile, Michigan.
